This is by far one of the simplest and fun ways for working those fine motor skills. 3 different sized bowls and some dried beans.
I filled the largest bowl and poured it into the second bowl and Boo didn´t need any more input from me.
At first she followed it as I´d set it up, going from large to small and then small to large in order.
She could do it quite accurately so I added some rice to test her pouring skills a bit more. Boo just got stuck in, she did spill more but this lead to her scooping up the beans and rice with her hands. This must have been a sensory delight as she played like this for ages.
Lastly a funnel was added into the play.
